Pray for Pakistan!
Urgent prayer plea for Pakistan!
There is tremendous persecution throughout Pakistan where the lives and homes of Christians are being threatened and destroyed. The following are emails received from directors of Training Centers who are preaching and standing for Christ on the frontlines.
For protection we have used initials rather than full names.
Before I informed you about a area name Korian a village of Gojra. In that area more then 70 Houses burnt by Muslims. More then 100 christian families was living there. Also two churches burnt by muslims there.
Today again more bad happen in one area there near Railway station Gojra. Christian [community] burnt by muslims. Many died and many injured. All Houses burnt with all things there by muslims.
I want your Guidence. We need you in these trouble time. I am thinking how they will stand on their feet again without job and without houses and without houses things.
God bless you

Greetings in the name of Christ:
Dear Friends and Prayer Partners:
Thousands of armed extremists Muslims attacked the Christian Town in Gojra, a town situated 450 Kms from Islamabad, and burnt more than 40 houses, killed seven persons including six who were burnt alive and injured 19 people. Among the burnt alive two are children and three are women. The extremists did in protest of the false charges of blasphemy on Talib Masih, a resident of village Korriyan, near Gojra. The Village Korriyan was also attacked by the extremists and more than 60 houses were burnt.
The martyrs of Gojra are the martyrs of struggle for justice and peace. They were innocent and became prey to the terrorists. Pakistani Christians has announced the August 9, 2009 Sunday as the Memorial Service Day. We will all pray for the martyrs and for those who lost everything in this incident.
Pray for them, light candles and send prayers for those who are alive but have nothing left in their houses. This is the time to urge the government of Pakistan and the international community to do more on combating the terrorism in Pakistan and saving lives and faiths of those who are a minority in Pakistan.
This is an appeal to the Body of Christ to circulate this letter to all around and give more and more time in your prayers on August 9, 2009 for the martyrs of Gojra, Pakistan.
God Bless you all.
Best regards,
NN
Greetings in His precious name,
I am really thankful to you that you and all your Cross Style people are praying for situation in pakistan. We only have Hope in our Lord and we know that our salvation is in Him, we are having a difficult time here and praying that our Lord may change their minds and change hate into love and radicalism into tolerance.
We will be praying for our Martyers of Gojra on 9th August and will hold memorial service for them in all major cities of Pakistan. Please pray that Lord may provide everything which they have lost, they dont have shelter as their homes were burnt, they dont have food as local market people are being forced by the radicals not to sell anything to Christians, even more they dont have electricity and water to drink, it is so hot weather in Pakistan and our brothers and sister are having such a difficult time, you might not believe but it is true that when homes of Christians were set to fire and fire fighters were coming to extinguish the fire, muslims layed in the middle of the road and blocked the way and said let them burn, they even injured fire fighters and police men who tried to stop them. now this matter have been raised in the international media but there is no action being taken by the govt, authorities have announced to help them but our Christians families have not yet received any thing. our Christian leaders are trying to help them out but they need so much funding to give all of them shelter, food, medical and other necessities of life.
We only have hope in our Lord that He will protect us. God Bless you.
Your brother in Christ.
