International Update – January 2011

Charles Mpagi – Uganda 

“We are excited at what the lord is doing in the lives of His people and even more so the students whom graduated.  The message of the cross is impacting our lives and the lives of many Pastors and church leaders.  These leaders have been trained and empowered to face hardships and challenges like poverty and insufficiency with the hope that Christ the Bleeding, Suffering and Dying Messiah is their model who continually was obedient to the father, even in the midst of death on the cross.  After discovering that the cross was not a one day event, many have been empowered to carry the cross daily and follow Christ. We graduated students in 10 Cross Style Training Centres – all together 112 students in December.

 

Ameir – Pakistan 

29 have graduated and now we have 40 students in 3 cross style training centers.

 

Donal James – Uganda 

Donal James has established 8 Cross Style Training Centers in 2 years with 199 students – of which 90 pastors are already in the field.

“The training of Cross style message has brought many leaders to be trained – most of them entered the ministry without any training due to limited Bible Colleges in Africa & the cost they could not afford to pay.   One of our students from Kampala just after the training ministered to a witch doctor who received Jesus Christ and now proclaims the truth.

I really want thank the ministry of Cross style office in the USA, with all that heart of helping the pastors who could not been trained to get this free training without any cost.

Secondly I also want pass my gratitude to those who had been empowering the training centers to expand all over the world.  Please what you are doing is not in vain but the fruits are coming out and we believe in the God of multiplication May Him increase all your resources as the need is still there to touch the world with the message of the Cross.”

 

Aimable Mutabaruka – Rwanda 

Aimable has trained over 80 students (among them pastors and evangelists from different places of the country). Over 500 souls have been led to Christ through this Cross Style message.

Aimable currently has 70 students PLUS some of the professors at the university have been given different subjects on DVDs to follow from their homes. They are being transformed by the Word of God through Cross Style Courses on DVDs.

 

James Odewo – Kenya

Last year (his first year with 10 centers) 35 students graduated from our centers. This year we have 76 students taking the courses.

The training has created a strong impact in us. We have experienced revival through this training. And this is not the sitting-on-a-tack kind of revival where people hiss, jump, get emotional and fall-under-the power. This is real revival with lasting impact. We have seen lives turned around, prayer lives revamped and genuine repentance taking place. A lot of people have given testimony of how they had to confront the living Jesus through these course and they came face to face with the Lord. They had to make radical choices for their lives and ministries. Above all the training has taught us to be Christ centered. Africa is a place where a lot of things are done in the name of Christianity which has no resemblance of Christ at all. The Cross Style message brings one to point where one knows what is Christian and what is not Christian. This message is radical and is for those who are truly seeking Him. We thank God for the opportunity to be part of Cross Style. We are still overwhelmed by the demand for these materials. People who have tasted the message stay up to very late in the night watching the videos. I feel for them because some of them have to travel back to their homes on bicycles as late as past midnight. We are praying that by the grace of God we will open more centers this year to make it easy for them to access the materials.

 

Javed – Pakistan

Javed in Pakistan has 3 centers – 22 graduated – 35 students now.

 

Noah – Nigeria 

Graduated 30 – currently has 60 students.

 

Philip Samson – Malawi

I thank God for these trainings. They are ablessing to me, my family and ministry. Since I started listening and watching CSIM teachings and lessons my life has greatly changed as a pastor, christian, and a husband.

Through the trainings God has helped to develop a style of satuarating in His word. And through His word is changing my way of thinking, my way of talking, and my way of living every day.
