We are excited at what the Lord is doing in the lives of His people and even more so the students whom graduated.  The message of the cross is impacting our lives and the lives of many Pastors and church leaders.  These leaders have been trained and empowered to face hardships and challenges like poverty and insufficiency with the hope that Christ the Bleeding, Suffering and Dying Messiah is their model who continually was obedient to the Father, even in the midst of death on the cross.  After discovering that the cross was not a one day event, but the style of life, many have been empowered to carry the cross daily and follow Christ.

Pastors and Bishops who attended the graduations were moved to an extent of even inviting Cross Style to reach their ministries with the message. One such leader is Bishop Christopher Tindimwebwa of Kasese District and the Regional overseer of  National Fellowship of Born Again Pentecostal Churches. He is in charge of Western Region of Uganda.  In January I am going to meet him officially to lay strategy for the Cross Style to take root in the new district of Kasese, Bundibujo and Fortportal.

In all our graduations we give God all the praise and glory. Government and Political officials who attended the graduations said they were impressed after knowing that our Training program is based in the USA. While in Eastern Uganda, more invitations were extended to us to open more Centres in new areas and we are looking at 4 new areas. This calls for your tireless working on raising funds for the training packages for all these new Centres as we trust  Jesus.

In Musita, three Centres held a joint graduation. Over 1,500 people came to the graduation. There were challenges with the graduation.  The graduation ceremony took more than 6 hours.  A truck struck a man crossing the street to attend the graduation.  He was killed immediately and it took hours for his body to be removed.  The generator failed and the lights and sound equipment went out and we were in total darkness. The people responded by raising their flashlights and cell phones for the graduation to continue. Praise Jesus!

Donal James – Uganda & South Sudan

The Cross Style on my leadership side was started in Jinja in a small centre called Nakibizzi with 30 students then reduced to 18 students who successfully had their graduation in 2008, It really gave a great impact in the area and because of the sound doctrine many pastors became concern of inviting the training to their local churches.

And within that year, two centres were confirmed within Kampala and two from the western part of Uganda while in 2008 I was  running one centre in South Sudan. It is very slow because of the language barrier but still the work is going on. And the work start to expand in 2009 update.

Therefore, for your information within Uganda I have 10 centres and five just been confirmed by me and still waiting for the start.

This is the list:

Jinja 17 students

Ggabba – Kampala 15 students

Rubaga – Kampala 20 students

Kaswa- Fortportal 14 students

Kidubuli-Fortportal 20 students

Hapuuuyo- Bundobuzo 10 students

Nyabuliko – Bundobuzo 10 students

 Nyakasojo-County 10 students

 Kyenjojo District 30 students

Kagorogoro- County 30 students

 Sudan- Yei county 30 students

Total 206  in 11 centres

The other thing is that we are really equipping many Pastors, leaders and those who are not yet in the ministry, through the training others have seen a clear picture and direction to enter into the ministry, but because lack of covering many could not go beyond what they are to reach.

Since we had our training we did plant two Churches by faith under the Cross Style ministry and they are doing well, and many really want to do so.  I would like to thank the Cross style ministry that, through this training I see many souls are being saved restored, Pastors are teaching the sound doctrine, and the need is still great. Sometimes I could not sleep – how can God do such a great revival among the pastors who could not meet and speak, because of the media confusion, but I can say Praise God for He is doing.

I’m really looking in this year as a year of blessings and pray that as the need is great, let our God the provider make a way and closed door be opened in Jesus name. May the sovereign God reign in your lives as we continue reaching the message of the cross the unreached.
